The Master of Science in Solar Energy Engineering program at the University of Freiburg, in collaboration with Fraunhofer ISE, is pleased to announce two key updates for prospective students applying for the upcoming summer semester 2025.

New Application Period Start Date

We are pleased to announce that the application period for the summer semester 2025 will now commence on December 15, 2024, instead of December 1. Applications will remain open until March 30, 2025.

This adjustment allows applicants additional time to explore the program’s offerings, prepare required documentation, and ensure a smooth submission process. Whether you are considering the Full Track (120 ECTS), the Expert Track (90 ECTS), or one of our specialized Certificates of Advanced Studies (CAS), this change provides more flexibility to plan your next academic step.

Early Bird Offer

In addition to the updated application timeline, we are introducing an early bird promotion. This limited-time offer applies to applications submitted between December 15, 2024, and January 15, 2025, and includes:

• A 15% discount on the first semester tuition fee for the Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Solar Energy Engineering.
• A 20% discount on tuition fees for our Certificates of Advanced Studies (CAS).

This offer provides a valuable opportunity for applicants to start their solar energy education journey with significant savings.
